Adam Cohen is an Assistant Attorney General at the New York State Office of Attorney General in the Bureau of Consumer Frauds and Protection. His practice focuses exclusively on loan servicing, foreclosure and origination investigations and prosecutions. He also works on legislative projects aimed at protecting consumer from loan servicing and foreclosure business practices. Before working for the New York Attorney General, Adam was a Senior Staff Attorney at MFY Legal Services where he represented homeowners in affirmative individual and class action lawsuits against loan servicing companies and foreclosure law firms, as well as defending homeowners in foreclosure litigation and mediation. He has delivered many CLE lectures in the area of loan servicing, foreclosure and loss mitigation for the Practising Law Institute, the National Consumer Law Center, the New York City Bar Association and Fordham Law School. He has also delivered oral and written testimony at legislative and regulatory hearings. Adam is a graduate of New York University and Arizona State University.
