Abraham Losice

Abe Losice is the Assistant Director for the OCIE NRSRO Exam Program.  In this role, he leads the group that is responsible for the examination of the NRSRO's. Abe joined the SEC in January 2010 as a Senior Specialized Examiner and has been part of the dedicated OCIE team for oversight of the NRSROs. Abe has been working on and has led annual and cause exams. Prior to joining the SEC, he was a Managing Director at Standard & Poor's. Abe served for over 20 years as an analyst and a manager with the Structured Finance and the Financial Institutions departments. This included 5 years coordinating the Asset Backed Securities department, where he worked to develop quality metrics and managing conflict of interest issues. His background includes a BA from City University of New York, the MBA program at NYU, and Executive Education at Columbia University.
