Abby C. Fiorella is currently Senior Vice President, Global Compliance and Forensics for MasterCard Worldwide.  Ms. Fiorella is responsible for implementation and day-to-day management of MasterCard's Ethics and Compliance Program which helps the Company manage and meet its ethical and legal commitments, including compliance with U.S. and international laws governing corruption, anti-trust, privacy, money laundering, and securities. In addition, Ms. Fiorella oversees and conducts internal investigations of employee fraud and misconduct related to violations of the law, financial regulations, and Company policies. 

Ms. Fiorella joined MasterCard in 2003, serving as Vice President and, then, Senior Business Leader, Audit and Forensics.  Ms. Fiorella continues to serve on the management team of the Audit Department and has responsibility for internal fraud risk management initiatives, including mitigating fraud risk through the development and deployment of training aimed at increasing awareness of fraud and enhancing internal controls. 

Prior to joining MasterCard, she spent 5 years at KPMG performing financial fraud investigations in the private sector and developing ethics and compliance programs.  Her legal and investigative experience also includes service as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County and an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department.

Ms. Fiorella graduated magna cum laude, with honors, from New York Law School in 1988 and is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.  Ms. Fiorella received a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Marymount Manhattan College in 1983, where she graduated magna cum laude with honors.
