Why You Should Attend:

Learning a Judge’s perspective on Family Court practice is invaluable.  Whether you are handling your first Family Court case or have been “out of the courtroom” for some time and need a refresher, this program will provide practical strategies, tools and tips for effective litigation in the New York Family Court.  Former Family Court Judge Philip C. Segal will share his knowledge and expertise on topics ranging from the basic layout of a courtroom, to the judicial perspective on domestic violence.  He will also answer questions from pro bono attorneys that will demystify Family Court litigation.
