Lisa K. Helvin is a Senior Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel at the Securities and Exchange Commission.  Ms. Helvin has served as a member of the Office’s Appellate Group since January 2013.  She joined the Commission’s staff from Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck, Untereiner & Sauber LLP.  

Ms. Helvin graduated in 2000 from Yale University and in 2007 from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was an editor for the Virginia Law Review.  After law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Diana Gribbon Motz of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
