Allison joined OCIE’s Office of Clearance and Settlement as Senior Regulatory Counsel in 2014. In that role, she is legal counsel for the team responsible for examining clearing agencies, including those designated as systemically important financial market utilities. Prior to joining OCIE, Allison spent 11 years as Senior Attorney in the Division of Enforcement, during which she handled numerous securities fraud investigations, including directed brokerage, best execution, market manipulation, accounting fraud, insider trading, and offering fraud. She also has extensive litigation experience in federal district court, and with administrative and cease and desist proceedings.
Allison received a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Business Administration at Wayne State University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
