Presentation Skills for Attorneys 2013

Why you should attend

Good presentation skills are important for all lawyers, whether speaking with partners and clients, making a pitch to potential new clients, or addressing a courtroom.  At this two-hour program, taught by a former practicing lawyer and one of the nation’s leading trainers, you will learn, and have the opportunity to practice, techniques that will immediately improve your presentation skills.

What you will learn

  • Master effective physical delivery skills (eye contact, body language, voice, gesturing)
  • Control the anxiety associated with public speaking
  • Effectively use notes to assist you in your presentation
  • Organize your presentation to better communicate with your audience
  • Handle difficult questions with confidence and ease

Several times during the program, attendees will partner with another program attendee to practice and reinforce their new presentation skills.
