MEDIA CONTINUITY ANALYST
Will support Media Continuity department by gathering information from various internal sources including Customer Service and Accreditation. Evaluate issues and incidents to provide detailed analysis to department manager. Initiate customer contact on high level technical issues for fact finding and follow up Customer Support. Provide general project and administrative support, which includes but is not limited to, preparing presentation materials and meeting agendas, preparing and distributing meeting minutes and status reports. College degree required. Excellent analytical and communication skills (both oral and written) required; Candidate needs to be highly organized, self-motivated, and creative. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is necessary; Experience with SQL and HTML is a plus.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Will support the department by scheduling/updating/maintaining calendars, tracking the production process of products in various reports, answering phones, recording notes at meetings and submitting requests for payments and purchase orders to accounting. Maintain department files. Create and maintain folders for each PLI program and track information on support and changes. Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ experience necessary. Typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office a must. Excellent communication skills necessary. Background in communications or video production or web programming a plus.
PROJECT ANALYST
Responsible for business application support and assists IT analysts on project requirement gathering, project planning and application testing. Will troubleshoot user-reported issues with business applications and respond to internal customers, track life-cycle of reported issues via a ticketing system, gather requirements for unresolved issues and escalate ticket to developers for further review. Assist on project related tasks such as documentation, testing, reports, and queries. Work with library relations and online departments on PLI publication research platform. College degree with 1-2 years’ experience required. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be detailed oriented and highly analytical, proficient in Microsoft Office required, MS Project a plus. Familiarity with HTML, XML and query logic preferred.
WEBSITE CONTENT SPECIALIST
Will track department workflow, analysis and project planning and assist in project requirement gathering. Assist in performing usability testing and gathering of metrics. Track and report on department workflow and projects, both new and on-going. Provide project support; maintain reports and documentation. Participate in and perform QA testing of business system enhancements related to Website Operations group. Test user facing enhancements in coordination with IT deployments. Schedule and perform usability testing for website and new products including the creation of test scenarios. Document complex business processes and organizational workflow in department Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Bachelor’s degree and some experience with project planning, analysis and project coordination. Knowledge of XML, content management and data management. Candidate should be organized with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and projects as well as provide direction to team confidently. Work experience of at least 3 years and should demonstrate ability to remain organized and focused on project objectives.
SR. WEB DEVELOPER
Responsible for ongoing product development, content production, support of live and on demand web programs and other online products that are developed. Will develop and implement new features and content areas and make appropriate changes and upgrades. Will integrate data with business systems as needed by other departments. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education plus 3 years directly related to corporate Web Development and production experience required. Knowledge of Web technologies, databases, video editing skills, project management skill and excellent communication skills necessary. Must have demonstrated experience and knowledge of ASP.NET, SQL, C#, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript/jQuery, Video Encoding, Flash and Adobe Production Suite, Microsoft Office Applications. Xcode, Objective C and Web content management systems a plus.
PROGRAM ASSISTANT (3 positions)
Will support the needs of the Program Attorney in preparation of seminars and training programs. Type correspondence and marketing materials, answer phone inquiries, maintain and update computer database information and program files and assist in the submission of course handbook materials to the Publishing division. College degree plus 2-4 years administrative support experience required. Excellent computer skills with knowledge of various software programs necessary. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
MCLE COORDINATOR
Will support the needs of the CLE department and the credit needs of PLI customers. Ensure proper credit issuance to PLI customers; manage customer service credit inquiries, trouble-shooting system and process exceptions, and develop a strong knowledge of credit and MCLE regulatory issues. Assist in the accreditation of PLI programs, credit reporting and various other CLE-related projects. College degree with excellent written and verbal communication and strong phone skills required. High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT, Visio, etc.) Strong research skills and CLE knowledge or experience a major plus.
DIRECTOR, MAJOR ACCOUNTS
Will target new and existing business opportunities at law firms, corporate legal departments and financial institutions with large volume of clients. Functional knowledge of education, distance learning and the legal community are preferred. Bachelor degree with 5-7 years institutional sales experience, excellent communication, presentation skills and willingness to travel required.
