This program provides a general overview of New York law that affects many low-income tenants. Tenants at risk of eviction need competent representation to help them save their homes. By attending this program, you will gain a broad understanding of some of the law that affects New York City, and some New York State, tenants and can decide whether to partner with a legal services organization or volunteer court programs to take on a pro bono case.
