As international business grows and flourishes, more disputes cross national boundaries. Parties involved in international business need to know how to most effectively resolve international disputes, and be aware of the strategic considerations that distinguish international litigation from pure domestic litigation. These considerations include securing the most favorable forum for the suit to be resolved, since more than one forum is likely have jurisdiction when the dispute is international; obtaining evidence located abroad for use in a lawsuit in another country; managing global litigation, especially where lawsuits are filed in more than one country by multiple plaintiffs; and enforcing foreign judgments. Our panels of experts share their knowledge with you on these and other strategic issues.
