Overview

Why You Should Attend

The 2015 program will review recent activities in environmental regulation affecting compliance obligations for a range of businesses and organizations.  Taking a comprehensive look at how new developments in environmental regulations and recent case law will affect deal negotiations, daily operations and corporate compliance efforts, our expert faculty will lead practical and timely discussions on new and recurring legal challenges that lawyers practicing environmental law and peripheral areas face daily. 

Starting with a discussion on recent changes in air and climate change regulation then moving on to Clean Water Act issues, including new NEPA guidance, the program will deliver useful insights on now to navigate these issues.  The faculty will then review compliance and due diligence concerns arising out of real estate and corporate deals, toxic tort issues and conclude with a session on legal ethics, which will address concerns arising out of  multijurisdictional practice, conflicts of interest and client confidentiality.
