Overview

This March marks the fifth anniversary of the enactment of the Affordable Care Act.  Employers, individuals, and health care providers are now required to comply with the core provisions of the law that expand access and regulate health coverage.  Meanwhile, the thousands of pages of implementing regulations and the administrative positions adopted by federal agencies have given rise to additional legal issues.

Please join Catherine E. Livingston, of Jones Day and former IRS Health Care Counsel, and Elena Kaplan of Jones Day to learn about:

  • The impact of the law on employers, individuals, and health care providers now that all the major requirements are in effect.
  • Legal issues that have been generated by the implementation process.
  • Questions practitioners can expect stakeholders to raise about the law in the coming year.
