Yuko Soneoka is Senior Corporate Counsel and Director of Intellectual Property at Genomic Health, where she oversees the company's entire patent portfolio. Yuko obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Oxford University and was a Howard Hughes Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University. Yuko then attended Georgetown Law, and spent almost a decade at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP. During her time in private practice, Yuko conducted due diligence investigations and provided opinions regarding validity, infringement, and freedom to operate, as well as drafted and prosecuted patents for companies in both the U.S. and abroad.
