Yoram Keinan

Yoram Keinan is a shareholder with Greenberg Traurig LLP in New York. He specializes in United States taxation of financial products and institutions and represents major investment banks and financial institutions in the United States. Mr. Keinan is the current chair of the American Bar Association Tax Section's Banking Committee. He also teaches courses on Taxation of Financial Instruments at the University of Michigan Law School and Georgetown University Law Center.  Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Keinan served as a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young's National Tax Department in Washington, DC., as an associate with Shearman & Sterling and as a Manager with Ernst & Young's tax department in Israel. Mr. Keinan has written several articles on taxation and had previously taught at Harvard University. Mr. Keinan earned his Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) and LLM degrees from the University of Michigan Law School. He also have MPA and ITP (International Taxation) degrees from Harvard University.
