Whitney Chatterjee

Whitney Chatterjee is co-head of the Alternative Investment Management Group and a member of the Firm's Financial Institutions Group. Her practice focuses on advising hedge fund managers, private equity funds and financial services companies on a wide variety of matters, including transactional, regulatory, compliance and corporate governance issues. Ms. Chatterjee has extensive experience providing advice regarding various aspects of the Dodd-Frank Act, including the Volcker Rule, and the Investment Advisers Act. Examples of Ms. Chatterjee's recent matters have included acquisitions and sales of strategic interests in hedge fund managers and private equity funds, advising on bank regulatory matters affecting banks and investment funds and procedures relating to conflicts of interest, material non-public information and other compliance matters. Ms. Chatterjee also has experience advising clients on a variety of commodities and derivatives matters.
