Wendy Netter Epstein is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Chicago-Kent College of Law and a former partner (and current of-counsel) in the litigation practice group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago. Her private practice focuses primarily on class actions and commercial litigation. She has worked on a broad range of substantive matters from breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty to securities, Consumer Fraud Act, and employment disputes. She is highly skilled at navigating complex, multi-party litigation and has significant experience dealing with experts in litigation. In 2011, Super Lawyers magazine named Ms. Epstein an Illinois Rising Star.
Ms. Epstein is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Seventh, Eighth and Ninth Circuits, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the State of Illinois. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before entering practice, Ms. Epstein clerked for the Honorable Michael Daly Hawkins of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
