Victoria Spang is the Chief Marketing Officer at Sheppard Mullin, a 550-attorney law firm with 14 offices based in Los Angeles. Ms. Spang is responsible for the firm's business development strategy and positioning as well as practice group development and oversight of all marketing and PR activities. Before joining Sheppard Mullin eight years ago, Ms. Spang was the Director of Marketing at the McCutchen law firm in San Francisco for seven years, which merged and became Bingham McCutchen her eighth year. She was also the head of marketing at the Pettit & Martin law firm, and a management consultant with Arthur D. Little, Inc. for ten years. Ms. Spang is a former President of the Legal Marketing Association, Bay Area Chapter and was awarded the Chapter's top honor for professionalism and career-long contributions to the profession She holds an MBA degree from Golden Gate University and received her undergraduate degree from Wheaton College (Mass.) of which she is a former Trustee. Ms. Spang is a frequent speaker at legal marketing conferences and forums.
