Tom Weidaw, CPA
Tom is a Portfolio Associate at GTCR LLC, leading private equity firm focused on investing in growth companies in the Financial Services & Technology, Healthcare and Information Services & Technology industries. Prior to joining GTCR, Tom spent seven years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers. At PwC Tom audited insurance companies, assisted clients in investigating and quantifying economic damages in litigation or arbitration situations and provided pre-acquisition financial due diligence services to private equity clients. He also worked on the closings of two failed financial institutions during the financial crisis of 2008-2009.
Tom holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA from Ohio University. Tom is a certified public accountant, licensed in the state of Illinois.
