Timothy T. Lupfer is a Director in Deloitte Consulting LLP, in the Organization & Change Practice. For the past seven years, beginning with Sarbanes-Oxley implementations, he has helped clients establish and maintain comprehensive compliance programs, develop and deliver compliance and ethics training, and "bake in" desired new behaviors into the organizational culture. His most recent clients include a major Technology/Media corporation, the United Nations, the City of New York, the Tennessee Valley Authority, healthcare and manufacturing companies, and numerous financial institutions. An example of his client work is the development of executive compliance training to meet the urgent demands of a federal regulator. Another example is his delivering live ethics training to over 1,500 executives of a major bank, and the development of a customized e-learning module of ethics training for the bank's managers. Tim's career in consulting began at McKinsey in 1995, which he joined after working at Macy's as a Group Vice President. Prior to entering business, Tim served for twenty years as an officer in the US Army, where he, inter alia, commanded a tank battalion in combat in Desert Storm in 1991, taught military history at West Point as an Assistant Professor, and authored a book on organizational change. Tim is a graduate of the United States Military Academy (West Point) and of Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
