Thomas R. Fileti is a partner at Morrison & Foerster in Los Angeles, and has been with the firm since 1984. He is the head of the Real Estate Practice Group in the Los Angeles office.
Mr. Fileti's practice emphasizes real estate finance transactions and credit facilities of all types; transactions involving REIT's; acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, loans and portfolios; matters involving hotel financing, acquisition, operation and disposition; real estate joint ventures and other equity investments; and workouts, restructuring and the exercise of remedies with respect to problem loans, troubled joint ventures, and other problem real estate investments.
Mr. Fileti received his B.A. from Cornell University in 1978 and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1981.
