Work History:
Mr. Herhold is a litigation partner in the firm's Palo Alto office where he specializes in patent infringement and other intellectual property litigation, complex business and antitrust litigation, and related counseling. He has substantial trial experience in both federal and state courts throughout the country. He has litigated cases involving a wide range of technologies, including computer hardware and software, communication networking, smart cards, telecommunications, semiconductor processes and circuitry, relational databases, photolithography, inkjet printing, proteomics, molecular pathology, medical devices and equipment, and other electrical, mechanical and biotechnology patents.
Mr. Herhold has been recognized by his peers and selected by Super Lawyers magazine as one of the top intellectual property litigators in California in 2009. He is active in the legal community, serving on the board of directors of the Silicon Valley Campaign for Legal Services.
