Tara Corvo is a member in the firm’s Washington office, practicing in the areas of cable and telecommunications. She practices before the Federal Communications Commission and other federal and state agencies, as well as in federal and state courts.
Tara counsels communications clients on emerging broadband-related regulatory and legislative matters, including network access, net neutrality, voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), and à la carte pricing. She also assists clients with local franchise renewals and transfers of control, and advises them regarding their must-carry, retransmission consent, leased access, and public, educational, and governmental (PEG) access obligations.
In addition, she offers general litigation, corporate, and regulatory advice to several non-profit organizations in the Washington area, and serves as the Washington office’s coordinator for community service activities.
Tara received her B.A. in Government and Modern European Studies from Cornell University (1990). She earned her J.D., with high honors, from Duke University School of Law (1993). She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.
