Suzan Charlton has been advising businesses on insurance and risk management issues for more than 15 years. She represents policyholders in insurance claims involving a variety of losses and liabilities, including food contamination, product recalls, product liabilities, property damage, pollution and more.
Ms. Charlton both litigates and negotiates insurance coverage disputes, and has participated in complex, multi-party trials as well as substantial insurance coverage settlements. She also has handled insurance claims on behalf of non-profit organizations and indigent clients on a pro bono basis.
Ms. Charlton is a frequent author and speaker on insurance law issues. She received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her law degree from Georgetown University, where she was an editor of The Georgetown Law Journal.
