Stuart Riback is a business litigator with substantial experience in financial, commercial, intellectual property and creditors rights cases. He is a 1984 graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar all three years. Stuart's undergraduate degree is from Queens College, from which he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Accounting, 1981. After graduating from law school, Stuart served as a law clerk to Judge Peter K. Leisure of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He began his career in private practice at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, then worked at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan before joining the firm now called Wilk Auslander LLP in August 1994. Stuart has appeared as trial and appellate counsel in many courts throughout the United States. Stuart was trial and appellate counsel to Samara Brothers in its litigation against Wal-Mart, and he represented Samara at trial, in the Second Circuit and in the United States Supreme Court.

Stuart has published articles in a number of publications on litigation, corporate, bankruptcy and intellectual property issues. He has lectured at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Practicing Law Institute, American Bar Association and at the American Intellectual Property Law Association on litigation, privilege, intellectual property and creditors' rights issues.
