Sonya Andreassen-Henderson, CPA/CFF, CFE is a VP in PNC's Enterprise Fraud Management group and leads its Mortgage Investigative Services Group (MISG). MISG has responsibility for the investigation of all mortgage-related fraud suspicions, including origination misrepresentations, short sale concerns, issues on modification and other loss mitigation activities as well as from servicing and investor repurchase issues. She joined PNC in October 2011 following a 16 year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), including over 10 years with PwC's fraud/forensic accounting team focusing on corporate investigations. Sonya is co-chairing the 2013 national AICPA Forensic Accounting/Business Valuation conference and was co-chair of the Practising Law Institute's Basics of Accounting and Pocket MBA program in Chicago for several years. While at PwC, she created and led an innovative series of programs for Chicago-area Women Leaders in Financial Services, creating a forum for collaborative, insightful discussions among executive level women in financial services on industry challenges and solutions. Sonya received her Masters of Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia, is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a certified public accountant (CPA) holding the Certified in Financial Forensics credential (CFF).
