Mohammed Essayoufi is the Coordinator of Immigrant Services at the NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS). Among other responsibilities, Mr. Essayoufi acts as ACS Language Access Liaison and is responsible for the implementation the Special Immigrant Juvenile Status Implementation Plan. Prior joining ACS, Mr. Essayoufi was a program manager at the Center for Integration and Advancement of New Americans (CIANA), where he oversaw the Family Services program for newcomers. For almost a decade, Mr. Essayoufi has been working with immigrant children and families in several capacities including case work planner and supervisor, program manager, administrator, and advocate. Mr. Essayoufi also teaches a course, Social Work Practice with Immigrant and Refugees, at Rutgers University School of Social Work. Mr. Essayoufi is a licensed Master's level social worker who earned his MSW from Columbia University School of Social Work.
