Seth Cohen is the Head of Policy and Processes with Zurich Financial Services' Office of Compliance Americas (OCA), based in New York. He has been with Zurich since January 2006. Seth's responsibilities have primarily focused on Zurich's response to its regulatory settlement agreements, governance, ethics and antitrust issues.  In addition, Seth provides compliance support to Zurich's alternative asset management group. In these roles, Seth has assisted in the development of the Americas regional compliance function at Zurich, designed and developed new compliance policies and procedures, and developed and delivered compliance training and communication. In addition to authoring numerous compliance-related pieces on the Zurich intranet, Seth has also published several articles in external publications. Seth was previously a manager in the Forensic practice at KPMG from 2001 to 2006, where he conducted investigations and compliance and governance assessments for Fortune 500 companies. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County, NY, and followed that experience as an investigative attorney for the New York City Department of Investigation. Seth is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is also a member of the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association and chairs it Financial Services Industry Group. He also has memberships with the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals, the Association of Corporate Counsel and the American Bar Association. Seth is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the George Washington University Law School.
