Scott Edwards joined Ernst & Young in 2012 as Vice President for US Oil & Gas Lead Advisory team. Scott brings over 7 years of investment banking experience advising energy companies on mergers and acquisitions and public and private capital markets strategies. Scott joins us from Canaccord Genuity where he worked in the energy corporate finance group and was previously a Vice President of Investment Banking at Rodman & Renshaw, establishing that firm's Houston presence in 2008. Scott also worked for Rodman & Renshaw in Manhattan for several years where he led the firm's China practice.
Scott's transactional experience covers the exploration & production, oilfield service and midstream sectors and includes over 65 closed transactions including IPOs and other public equity offerings, private equity placements, mergers and acquisitions, public and private debt offerings, fairness opinions and valuations.
Scott earned a BBA in Finance from The University of Houston and an MBA from the American College of Switzerland.
