Ron Dabrowski is the Deputy Associate Chief Counsel (International - Technical) in the IRS Chief Counsel's Office. He oversees International's published guidance program and is a technical resource for all legal positions taken by International. He started in Chief Counsel in this position in October, 2010.
Prior to joining the IRS, Mr. Dabrowski was partner in KPMG LLP's Washington National Tax office. Mr. Dabrowski also has experience at the law firms of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP and Shaw Pittman LLP. Upon his graduation from law school, he clerked for the Hon. J. Calvitt Clarke in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Mr. Dabrowski is a past Chair of both the District of Columbia Bar's International Tax Committee and the AICPA's International Tax Technical Resource Panel.
Mr. Dabrowski received both his law degree and a Masters degree in economics from Duke University in 1995. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College in 1992.
