Robert N. Sacks has served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Standard Parking Corporation since March 1998. Prior to that time, Mr. Sacks served in various capacities for a predecessor of Standard Parking, including general counsel and secretary (1988 - March 1998), vice president (1989 - 1997), and senior vice president (1997 - March 1998).
Mr. Sacks received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Northwestern University in 1976 and his J. D. degree from Suffolk University in 1979.
Mr. Sacks was a member of the Suffolk University Law Review.
As general counsel of Standard Parking, Mr. Sacks is responsible for the overall supervision of all of the Company's legal activities, including legal contracting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, corporate governance and SEC compliance. Mr. Sacks oversees the Company's in-house Legal Department, which as of August 2012 was comprised of six attorneys and a legal and paralegal support staff.
Standard Parking Corporation (NASDAQ: STAN) went public with an initial public offering in June 2004 followed by a successful secondary offering in November 2009.
