Robert C. Fleder is a partner of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and chairs the firm's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group. He has handled ERISA, employee benefits and executive compensation matters for over 35 years and has extensive experience and sophisticated expertise in the legal, accounting, actuarial and human resource issues connected with employee benefit plan and executive compensation arrangements, including dealing with those arrangements in M&A transactions, dealing with pension problems in corporate transactions and in bankruptcy proceedings and providing support in sophisticated ERISA litigation.
Mr. Fleder holds degrees from Columbia University (B.A. 1969, M.A. 1971, J.D. 1973) and clerked for the Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court (1973-1974).
