Rimma Budnitskaya was most recently Sr. Intellectual Property counsel at NetApp, Inc., a Silicon Valley company providing storage solutions. Ms. Budnitskaya provided business-focused IP counseling to engineers, scientists, R&D teams, and business managers. Ms. Budnitskaya was actively involved in creating global patent portfolio at NetApp. Her practice also includes patent litigation and intellectual property due diligence. Prior to NetApp, Ms. Budnitskaya was an intellectual property associate at Fenwick & West, a national law firm. She prepared and prosecuted patent applications for software and hardware inventions. Ms. Budnitskaya holds a B.S. degree in Math and Computer Science from the Institute of Economics, Moscow, Russia and J.D. from the Golden Gate University School of Law, San Francisco, CA. Ms. Budnitskaya has been a guest speaker at the University of Santa Clara School of Law.
