Ralph E. Lerner is an attorney at law and a partner in the law firm of Sidley & Austin in its New York City office. He earned a B.S. degree from Bucknell University, a J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law, and an L.L.M. (Taxation) degree from New York University School of Law. Ralph specializes in art law and has chaired the art law seminar for the Practising Law Institute since 1974. He is currently Visual Arts Division, Chair, American Bar Association; Committee on Fine Arts, Chair, New York State Bar Association; and is Fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estate Counsel. He is married to Judith Bresler and lives in Scarsdale, New York.
