Cab Morris is a corporate partner in Winston & Strawn's Chicago office who
concentrates his practice in securities and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Morris works extensively with companies such as Motorola Solutions,
Inc., Exelon Corporation, Illinois Tool Works Inc., Newell Rubbermaid Inc.,
and GATX Corporation, among others. In addition, Mr. Morris regularly
represents underwriters in public securities offerings, including Citigroup
Global Markets, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan,
and Barclays Capital.
In recent years, he has represented issuers and underwriters in public and Rule
144A debt offerings aggregating approximately $30 billion. He also has been
involved in more than 20 initial public offerings for companies in various
industries, including biotechnology, gaming, technology, and manufacturing.
Mr. Morris also regularly represents emerging, pre-IPO companies in the
technology and pharmaceuticals industries in exempt capital raising
transactions.
Mr. Morris also is a certified public accountant and spent several years in the
auditing group of Price Waterhouse.
Activities
Mr. Morris serves on the faculty of the annual PLI progam, Understanding the
Securities Laws.
Education
Mr. Morris received a B.A. from Michigan State University in 1982 and a J.D.
from DePaul University College of Law in 1987.
