Professor Burt Neuborne is one of the nation's leading experts on First Amendment Law. He has argued many cases before the United States Supreme Court (including Legal Services Corp. v. Velazquez). He has published widely on constitutional law and civil rights, including co-authorship of Political and Civil Rights in the United States. He is legal director of the Brennan Center for Justice. He has served as national Legal Director of the ACLU and is the founding legal director of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law School.
