Peter A. Sarasek is former Chair of the National Real Estate Group of Quarles & Brady LLP, and works in the firm's Chicago office. He has been practicing law since 1974, and his practice concentrates in the areas of commercial leasing, commercial finance, and commercial sales and acquisitions of real property throughout the country. He has represented ownership in the management and leasing of office, industrial and retail properties throughout the Midwest, as well as office buildings in downtown Chicago (e.g., John Hancock Center, NBC Tower, Citigroup Center, LaSalle Bank Building, UBS Tower, 401 North Michigan Avenue, etc.), and its suburbs. His practice also includes representing anchor tenants in new office towers in Chicago (including most recently at 300 North LaSalle Street, 444 West Lake Street, and 300 East Randolph Street). He has authored articles on commercial leasing and finance, and has participated as Chair or as a member of a number of professional panels (including: Chair, Practicing Law Institute Chicago programs: Commercial Real Estate Finance (Spring 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011); Commercial Real Estate Institute (Fall 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011); Sophisticated Real Estate Practice (Fall 2003, Chicago); Co-chair, Negotiating Leases Conference, CLE International (November 2002, Chicago); Faculty: Practicing Law Institute, "Negotiating Commercial Leases, Lender's Perspective (Panel Participant 1997-1999; Chair of Chicago Program Fall 2000); Moderator, CREO Legal Panel (1996-1999). He was named one of the Top 100 Attorneys in Illinois by peer-voting for Super Lawyers. He is licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin, and is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
