Attorney Perry Browder is a shareholder at Simmons Browder Gianaris Angelides & Barnerd LLC where he manages the firm's Asbestos Litigation Group. Browder earned his bachelor's degree in political history from Bradley University and went on to graduate with honors from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1988.
With nearly 25 years of experience as both a plaintiff and defense attorney, Browder has handled complex litigation in Illinois and throughout the country. Since joining the Simmons Firm in 2001, Browder has litigated over 200 mesothelioma cases and helped recover millions of dollars on behalf of mesothelioma victims. He has played a key role in some of the largest asbestos verdicts in the country, including a $250 million verdict against U.S. Steel.
Browder is active on the Illinois Bar Foundation's board, supporting charitable legal work for the less fortunate. He was also recently included in the 2013 Best Lawyers in America and recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer for the third year.
He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Federal Trial bar, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
