Pamela Phillips is a member of the firm's business litigation practice group and is head of the attorney liability practice group. She is a Certified Specialist in Legal Malpractice Law, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and was most recently recognized by the Daily Journal as one of the top 100 lawyers in California.
Ms. Phillips specializes in the laws governing lawyers. She represents lawyers, law firms and corporations in litigation, counsels them on legal ethics and risk management issues, and conducts internal investigations. Her practice includes defending legal malpractice cases, malicious prosecution cases, and other litigation filed by and against lawyers, including partnership disputes and State Bar investigations and trials. She is also often called in to handle anti-SLAPP motions, fee arbitrations, and motions for disqualification and sanctions.
