Nancy Axilrod is the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel of Coach, Inc.
Nancy focuses on litigation, employment law, including benefits and compensation issues, and protecting Coach's intellectual property. Nancy also works closely with the retail field to respond to customer concerns. In addition, Nancy develops guidance and training on various legal matters, including anti-counterfeiting.
Before joining Coach, Nancy was the Assistant General Counsel at Icahn Associates Corp. where she was responsible for all litigation at companies owned, controlled or associated with Carl Icahn. This litigation experience included shareholder actions, complex commercial litigation, environmental matters, product liability and employment matters. Prior to Icahn Associates Corp., Nancy was the Vice President and General Counsel for Sands Casino Hotel Atlantic City. Before moving in-house, Nancy was a Shareholder at Sterns & Weinroth and previously served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable L. Anthony Gibson (Ret.), Superior Court of New Jersey. Nancy has a BA from Stockton State College and a JD from Rutgers School of Law. She is admitted to the bars of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
