Michael Macakanja is an Investment Banking Executive Director in the Chicago office of J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Macakanja has participated in the execution of numerous M&A assignments and corporate restructurings. M&A assignments include both buy-side and sell-side engagements for large public and private companies as well as numerous cross-border transactions. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Macakanja worked at Lazard in the investment banking group.
Mr. Macakanja received a M.B.A. with high honors and concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
