Matthew L. Guadagno

Matthew L. Guadagno has been practicing immigration law since 1997. He is a solo practitioner in Manhattan.  Previously, he was a partner at a New York City deportation defense firm. Mr. Guadagno's practice focuses on deportation defense and federal litigation relating to immigration. He has argued numerous cases in the federal courts that have resulted in precedent decisions.  Mr. Guadagno currently serves on the Amicus Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers' Association and the Advisory Board to Brooklyn Defenders. In September 2012, Mr. Guadagno was listed in the publication, Super Lawyers of New York, for the fifth year in a row. He is also AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Guadagno regularly speaks at continuing legal education courses about immigration law. Mr. Guadagno was an adjunct professor of law at the Fordham University School of Law in the Immigrant Rights and Access to Justice Clinic for the Spring 2011 semester. Mr. Guadagno is currently an adjunct professor at Brooklyn Law School teaching a course that he created that is called: Immigration Workshop: Deportation Defense.
