Martha Burke is Director and Senior Capital Markets Counsel at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., based in New York. Martha and her team support international foreign exchange businesses, including international treasury management, corporate, institutional and commercial banking, wealth management and derivatives.
Martha has in-house experience on both the buy- and sell side and prior to foreign exchange has supported trading and sales desks in a variety of capacities, including fixed income, and equities, structured products, emerging markets, and commodities.
Over the past three years, Martha has spent the majority of her time helping clients transition their businesses in response to financial reform law and regulations. She serves on a number of committees and working groups at the industry level, with particular focus on swap dealer business conduct, regulatory and real-time reporting and recordkeeping.
