Marta Beckwith is a Senior Director for Cisco Systems, Inc. where she is responsible for worldwide intellectual property litigation. She also collaborates with the Intellectual Property group on IP strategy, with the M&A team on IP related due diligence and with the sales and supply chain teams on IP related contract provisions. Prior to starting her position at Cisco in 2005, Ms. Beckwith was Senior Director, IP Litigation for Applied Materials, Inc. She began her career at what was then known as Pillsbury Madison & Sutro and also practiced law at Limbach & Limbach and Fenwick & West. Ms. Beckwith received her law degree from UC Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law. She also has an M.A. in Mathematics from UCLA and a B.A. in Mathematics from UC Santa Cruz.
