Mark Schneider is a principal with the Washington National Tax office of Deloitte Tax, LLP, specializing in corporate and consolidated return tax matters, as well as taxation of financially troubled companies. Prior to joining Deloitte Tax in April 2008, Mark was the Deputy Associate Chief Counsel (Corporate) for the Internal Revenue Service. Mark also is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches a course on the taxation of corporate reorganizations, and he is the current chair of the ABA's committee on Affiliated and Related Corporations.
