Marc Trevino is the managing partner of the Firm's Executive Compensation and Benefits Practice Group and a member of the Firm’s Financial Institutions Group. He regularly advises on a wide variety of transactional matters, succession and related compensation matters, governance, regulatory and compliance issues and regulatory investigations.

Recent representations include:

Mr. Trevino is a co-author of The Public Company Deskbook 2009, The Practising Law Institute), a comprehensive, three-volume treatise on the governance and disclosure reforms for legal and accounting professionals. He is also a member of the Conference Board’s Expert Committee on Shareholder Activism.

Mr. Trevino also lectures and writes extensively on compensation and corporate governance matters, including for the American Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, Bank Directors Magazine, The Corporate Counsel and The Corporate Governance Advisor. He is recognized as g a leading lawyer in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, The Best Lawyers in America and New York Super Lawyers. Mr. Trevino is also co-chairman of the PLI Executive Compensation Program.
