M. Rosie Rees joined the firm of Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, a real estate boutique firm, in 1994. She is a firm partner, specializing in shopping center leasing on behalf of both landlords and tenants.

The clients she has represented include: JMB Realty Corporation, Urban Retail Properties Co., Walton Street Capital, The Related Companies, Schnitzer West, AnnTaylor, Inc. and Guess?, Inc.

Ms. Rees received her J.D., with honors, in 1981 from Loyola University Law School. In 1973, she received her bachelor's degree, with high honors, from Northeastern Illinois University, where she majored in English, linguistics, speech and theater.

Ms. Rees has been a member of the State Bar of Illinois since her admission in 1981 and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She serves on the board of the Georgetown Law School Commercial Leasing Institute, and writes and speaks frequently on retail leasing topics.
