Linda Carlisle practices international and domestic tax law, concentrating on the taxation of financial derivative products, securities and commodities, the taxation of flow through entities, such as partnerships, including master limited partnerships, limited liability companies and Subchapter S corporations, subchapter C reorganizations, intercompany pricing issues, and legislative, regulatory, and administrative tax matters.
Ms. Carlisle is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin (B.A.), Catholic University (J.D.), and Georgetown University (L.L.M.). She worked at the U.S. Department of Treasury as an Attorney Advisor and as the Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy from 1984 - 87. She has served as Chair of the Taxation Section of the D.C. Bar and currently is a member of the Tax Section Steering Committee.
