L. Kevin Sheridan, Jr.

Kevin Sheridan has a broad transactional practice that currently focuses on mergers and acquisitions work for corporate clients, strategic transaction work for institutional investors and investment managers in the alternative asset management sector, the formation and ongoing counseling of alternative asset management businesses and transactional work for alternative asset managers in Latin America and in the agribusiness, energy, investment management, structured finance and specialty finance sectors.  

Prior to joining Bingham, Kevin chaired the New York corporate law department of a large national law firm. He began his career as a law clerk for the Hon. Edward R. Korman, former chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, followed by five years as an associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore. In 1994, he cofounded with two colleagues from Cravath the corporate law boutique Roberts, Sheridan & Kotel, which became the New York practice of Dickstein Shapiro's Corporate and Finance Group in 2001.
