Krishna P. Vallabhaneni(invited)

Krishna P. Vallabhaneni currently serves as an attorney-advisor in the Office of the Tax Legislative Counsel within the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Tax Policy. Since joining the Department of the Treasury in May 2012, Mr. Vallabhaneni has been responsible for advising the Tax Legislative Counsel on federal income tax matters relating to corporations, including members of consolidated groups, and their shareholders.

Mr. Vallabhaneni was previously a manager, and most recently a senior manager, in the Subchapter C group of Deloitte Tax LLP's Washington National Tax Office, where he advised corporate clients and their shareholders regarding the federal income tax consequences of mergers, asset and stock acquisitions, restructurings, spin-offs, taxable dispositions, and other transactions.

Between 2001 and 2005, Mr. Vallabhaneni served as an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service's Office of Associate Chief Counsel (Corporate). He received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, and a B.A. in Biology from Johns Hopkins University.
