Kirk C. Jenkins maintains an exclusively appellate practice, with special emphasis in matters of antitrust, tort and constitutional law. He regularly appears before state and federal courts in California, other West Coast states, and other parts of the country.
Mr. Jenkins has successfully represented major corporations, private individuals, and governmental entities and officials in connection with a variety of civil rights, antitrust and products liability issues and has helped defeat several billion dollars in claims for these clients. He has also represented clients in appellate matters involving issues such as administrative licensing, strict products liability, patent infringement and misuse, juror misconduct, statutory recreational use immunity, mandatory arbitration clauses, insurance coverage, defamation, litigation and law enforcement privileges, attorney malpractice, federal preemption, the peculiar risk doctrine, malicious prosecution, surety bonds, ERISA and breach of contract.
Prior to joining the Chicago office in 2004, Mr. Jenkins was resident in the San Francisco office for 10 years.
